Back in late 2014, a few months after we released the original "A Laser for Lovers" soundtrack, we were contacted by Jim Robb, Jr., who introduced himself to us as "the son of the first movie's screenwriter." Immediately, we screamed "FIRST movie!?!?!" Apparently, his late father had penned an entire SERIES of films set in Argon City and "A Laser for Lovers" was only one of many. Due to the huge success of our soundtrack reissue and the global "L4L" phenomenon that it subsequently sparked, a few film studios green-lit production on two of these screenplays. One of these was "A Laser for Lovers 2: Fatal Exception," which is scheduled to be released in early 2023 as a launch title for the Bass Pro Shops Plus streaming service. Mr. Robb, Jr. also informed us that he'd found a box of floppy disks labeled "L4L2 (Disks 1-8)," "B4St.M," and "D2DS" and discovered that his late father had been collaborating with the original film's composer on musical scores to the entire film series. Earlier this week, we received some of these disks and were amazed to have found a twenty-six track score, complete with notes for each musical cue. Knowing the impactful cultural significance of this treasure, we quickly extracted, archived and prepared these materials for release which we proudly present to you today.
